Offerwise Follows Up Hit Bigspot.com Marketing Campaign

ASHBURN, Va., Jan. 25 -- BigSpot.com, a free and trustworthy resource for paid, web-based consumer polls, introduces the "Propozal Pillow," the latest edition of the site's highly successful viral marketing campaigns. As with BigSpot.com's 2010 "Neck Basket" campaign, the "Propozal Pillow" employs satire and non-traditional marketing techniques to grow BigSpot.com's brand and user base.

Through national TV advertising, BigSpot.com has set itself apart from other market research companies. The commercials highlight the importance of consumer opinion, with the "Propozal Pillow" existing as a fictitious product that supports a person's knee while proposing. These campaigns have caused a viral stir and become a unique and humorous way to reach target audiences.

"The reasoning behind the 'Neck Basket' and 'Propozal Pillow' is that companies occasionally develop products that consumers don't need, or that could benefit from consumer input," said Andrew Lissak, founder and CEO of Offerwise, the market researcher behind BigSpot.com. "With BigSpot.com, consumers can offer their opinions on a variety of products and services, they're rewarded for those opinions, and companies can modify their offerings to better serve customers."

With over 100,000 views, the "Neck Basket" parody became a viral sensation and was covered on SportsIllustrated.com and Comedy.com, among others. Since July 2010, more than 125,000 people have visited MyNeckBasket.com.

The "Propozal Pillow" seeks the same success as its predecessor through national television, online and mobile viewing.
